About The Old Post Office

The Old Post Office Coffee Shop first opened its doors in August 2021 after extensive renovations to transform it from the small village Post Office it once was to what it is now.

The Coffee Shop serves breakfast and lunch, as well as a wide range of sweet and savoury choices on display as you walk in.

All our produce is locally sourced and our coffee is roasted right here in Woodchurch by Coldblow Coffee.

With its warm and charming atmosphere, the reclaimed materials and quirky decor make for a unique coffee shop experience. In the summer time you can soak up the sun in our spacious back garden or take a seat in the front courtyard and watch the world go by. When the winter comes, warm up in front of the cosy log-burner with one of our hot chocolate specials or indulge in a seasonal hot drink.

 

Being a short distance from the church, the windmill and countless footpaths, the location is perfect for dog walkers, ramblers and cyclists (we even offer a large bike rack in the garden!). Dogs are always welcome too!

There are good transport links from Tenterden and Ashford if you are coming from further away. With popular bus routes, the 2A passes straight through the village, stopping at the church. From there, the coffee shop is a 2 minute walk down the road. Or if you're driving find us on Google Maps.
